1. Introduction These Terms of Usage govern the purchase of custom furniture from Dreams Woodwork LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). By placing an order, you agree to these terms in full.
2. Custom Orders & Design Approval Every piece is custom-built. Once a project design and cost are agreed upon, any significant changes may incur additional fees and extend the production timeline.
3. Production Timelines Standard projects (like the Jeep Bed) typically take 3 to 4 weeks, while complex builds (like the Castle Bunk) may take up to 6 weeks. These are estimates and may vary based on material availability and current shop volume.
4. Payment Terms We accept credit cards, debit cards, cash, Venmo, Zelle and integration with payment plan companies such as Affirm, Klarna and Afterpay. We also accept payment gateways like PayPal and Google Pay. We do not accept Apple Pay or Samsung Pay. Full payment or a defined deposit (as agreed upon per project) is required before production begins.
5. Warranty & Liability We take pride in our “Safety First” approach. We offer:
- 3-Year Material Warranty:
- Covers the structural integrity of the build as assembled by us.
- Covers defects in the wood or hardware under normal use.
- Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, environmental factors (extreme humidity/dryness), or unauthorized modifications. Dreams Woodwork LLC is not liable for incidental or consequential damages beyond the repair or replacement of the product.
6. Delivery & Sourcing We currently serve the Kansas City metro area. In accordance with Kansas law, sales tax is calculated based on the delivery address (destination-based sourcing).
7. Returns & Cancellations Because our items are custom-made to your specifications, we do not accept returns after a product is delivered and assembled. In case of cancellations after materials are purchased but the bed is not yet completed, we will do our best effort to honor the maximum refund possible by returning all unused materials to our providers, however none of that is guaranteed as we don’t control our provider’s return policy.
8. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of Johnson County, KS.
